Delete your account and data

This page explains how to request deletion of your account and associated data for the app Interview JobPrep AI (package com.harsh.interviewjobprep), published by Harsh Singhal on Google Play.

Option 1 — Delete in the app (immediate)

Open Interview JobPrep AI and sign in.
Go to Profile → Settings.
Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
Confirm your identity when asked — enter your password, or sign in again with Google if you registered with Google Sign-In. This is a Google security requirement before an account can be removed.
Tap Delete my account to confirm.

Your account and profile data are deleted immediately, and you are signed out on that device. This action cannot be undone.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you can no longer install or sign in to the app, email harshsinghal.technology@gmail.com from the email address registered to your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. Include the email address used to sign up so we can locate the account. We verify the request and delete the account within 30 days, and confirm by email once done.

What is deleted

Your account credentials (email / Google sign-in link).
Your profile: name, email, selected role, country, XP, level, streaks.
Reward credits, referral code and referral history.
Saved resumes, uploaded resume files and generated resume content.
Bookmarks, solved-challenge progress, drafts and achievements.
All app data stored on the device for that account.

What is kept, and for how long

Data	Retention	Why
Purchase and transaction records (Google Play order IDs, purchase tokens, amounts)	Up to 8 years	Required for tax, accounting and refund-dispute obligations. These records are held by Google Play as the seller of record; we retain only the identifiers needed to verify a past purchase.
Anonymised, aggregated analytics and crash diagnostics	Up to 14 months	Cannot be linked back to you once the account is deleted; used only to measure app stability and usage.
Backup copies of deleted records	Up to 30 days	Deleted data may persist in encrypted infrastructure backups until those backups rotate out.

Note about subscriptions. Deleting your account does not cancel an active Google Play subscription. Cancel it separately in the Play Store app: Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Interview JobPrep AI → Cancel subscription.
